
Eddie Edwards finally found the "Sandman" who wound up being a random bystander. Kross then jumped him as he was walking out of the storage closet.
Edwards recovered, though, and beat him until he started coughing up blood. Alicia found them and demanded that Edwards stop. Kross encouraged the brutality, and Edwards leaped onto him, biting into his face and, seemingly, crushing his face with his foot.
Sami Callihan cut a promo via the personal oVe cam. The Death Machine reminded the viewers that he's an ice cold psychopath. He plans on making Tessa Blanchard famous at Slammiversary, as he challenged the Undeniable One to a match. Callihan plans on treating her as an equal, beating her down into a bloody pulp like everyone he's ever been in the ring with.
Next week, the Rascalz will face LAX & the Laredo Kid in a six-man tag match just a few days away from their Tag Team Title match at Slammiversary.
Johnny Impact vs Michael Elgin vs Rich Swann
Impact and Elgin targeted Swann first. However, instead of teaming up, they fought over the chance to beat the X-Division Champion down. Swann dropped Impact but was met by an enziguri from Elgin.
Elgin avoided a Disaster Kick and took down Impact with a shoulder block. They started trading fists only to be brought down by a crossbody from Swann. Swann dove onto Elgin on the outside with a corkscrew plancha. Not to be out done, Impact hit a springboard corkscrew plancha.
Both men leapt into the ring, springing to their feet and trading kicks. In the corner, Impact attempted a Spanish Fly. Elgin broke it up, leading to a double German suplex from the Unbreakable One.
Elgin squashed both of his opponents in opposite sides of the ring with repeated running clotheslines. Impact shook it off and avoided a suplex. Swann ran in for a tilt-a-whirl hurricanrana, superkicking Elgin and bringing Impact down on him with a leaping hurricanrana.
Elgin broke out, and planted Swann with the Air Raid Siren. Impact recovered and pelted Big Mike with a massive kick, following up with a running knee to Swann and a standing Shooting Star Press.
Elgin Set up Impact for a Dragon Suplex, but it was blocked. He instead turned Impact inside out with a rolling forearm and a spin out sidewalk slam. Impact kicked out at two. As they made it back to their feet, Swann connected with a handspring double cutter.
Swann was taken out by Impact when Elgin placed the X-Division Champion on his shoulders, getting tossed with a reverse hurricanrana when Impact connected with a Disaster Kick, allowing him to connect with Starship Pain on Elgin.
Elgin kicked out and set up for the rolling elbow. Impact blocked, attempting the Moonlight Drive. Elgin broke away but was dropped from the top rope with a Spanish Fly. Rich Swann leaped onto another turnbuckle and dropped onto Impact with the 450 Splash, pinning his challenger for Slammiversary.
Results: Rich Swann defeated Johnny Impact and Michael Elgin via pinfall.
Elgin interrupted Swann's celebration, but was rocked by a roundhouse kick. A spinning back kick leveled Impact. John E. Bravo ran in to assist on the beat down, hitting Swann with the Ultimate X.
Impact tried to talk Elgin into helping out, but the three men were interrupted by Impact World Champion Brian Cage. Cage cleared the ring of everyone but Elgin, and the two men stared each other down.
A jumping knee and a discus clothesline set Cage up for a massive powerbomb, spiking Elgin in the middle of the ring. The World Champion stood tall with the belt held high.
