IMPACT Wrestling's own (illegal) casino owner Johnny Swinger filmed a commercial for Swinger's Palace. It was horrible in the best way. A+ for the night there.
Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Rohit Raju ran into Fallah Bahh, who was seen sleeping under a makeshift tent. Raju made fun of Bahh for gambling all of his money away.
IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Championship: TJP vs. Ace Austin (c) w/Madman Fulton
At Sacrifice, these two tore the house down and delivered the match of the night. Tonight, TJP looked to do more than just that, hoping to regain the IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Championship. Ace Austin went tit-for-tat with TJP, countering back and forth. TJP got first blood, stunning Austin with a standing dropkick and a running uppercut.
Austin responded with a double jump springboard roundhouse kick, getting a close call early on. TJ managed to send Austin to the floor, following that with a big dive. Back in the ring, Austin blocked a superplex, turning it into an avalanche gourdbuster as we cut to a commercial break. This was already looking to be another X-Division classic.
During the break, Austin worked over the legs of his opponent before locking in a seated double chicken wing. TJP managed to escape, easily, and catch the champion in an abdominal stretch. Austin kicked out of a pinfall attempt and nearly decapitated the IMPACT Wrestling vet with a clothesline.
Austin blocked the Detonation Kick, rocking TJP with a rolling windmill kick. A springboard Fame Acer bounced TJP's head off the mat but managed to kick out. Again, TJP locked in the abdominal stretch. This time, Austin was unable to break away on his own. Luckily for him, Madman Fulton yanked him under the ropes.
Austin was locked in an octopus stretch on the ropes, but was distracted by Madman Fulton. The Mamba Splash was countered, leading to a double clothesline. TJP countered The Fold and hit The Detonation Kick. The Mamba Splash connected, and would've given us a new IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion had Madman Fulton not broken it up.
Results: TJP defeated Ace Austin via DQ on IMPACT Wrestling.
Grade: A-
After the match, Josh Alexander saved TJP from a vicious beatdown.
