IMPACT Wrestling has seen a lot of talent from AEW and NJPW show up recently. We'll see more next week, as NJPW's Kojima is set to appear. Speaking of NJPW stars, the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions were with Gia Miller backstage. They were putting the gold on the line tonight against Ace Austin and Madman Fulton, who won a shot at the gold at IMPACT Wrestling Under Siege.
Could FinJuice retain the gold? Well, they're heading back to Japan tomorrow regardless. For IMPACT's sake, Austin and Fulton needed to pick up the win tonight.
VSK vs. Petey Williams on IMPACT Wrestling
The IMPACT Wrestling legend faced off against a newcomer to the company in VSK. Williams turned VSK inside out with a leaping hurricanrana, following up with a dropkick in the ropes. VSK found himself on the floor where a slingshot hurricanrana left him in a major daze.
VSK spiked the multi-time IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion with a springboard tornado DDT. After a knee drop, VSK earned a two-count. A body slam and standing splash saw VSK get another near fall. Still, Petey fought out.
Petey finally turned things around with a snap German suplex and a running knee to the jaw. VSK blocked the Canadian Destroyer but was stopped with the tilt-a-whirl Russian leg sweep. VSK blocked the Canadian Destroyer again, this time snapping Petey in half with a backbreaker.
A snap powerbomb into the Canadian Destroyer finally put VSK down.
Results: Petey Williams defeated VSK via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

At IMPACT Wrestling Under Siege, former world champion Rich Swann returned to save Willie Mack from W. Morrissey. Swann spoke to Gia Miller backstage for the first time since losing the gold to Kenny Omega. Swann admitted that he lost, and it was a painful experience both physically and mentally.
Swann said that Morrissey reminded him of Omega, someone that came to IMPACT Wrestling to turn things upside down, make a name for themselves and embarrass everyone at the company. Morrissey attacked Swann, delivering a hellacious big boot and sending him through the doors.
