Impact Wrestling Rumors: Bob Ryder gets into huge fight with The Jarretts

Ryder and the Jarretts don’t seem to get along.

What’s the story?

As reported by Wrestling News Source, TNA’s Bob Ryder supposedly got into a huge fight backstage with Jeff & Karen Jarrett. The incident was said to have taken place during the April 23rd tapings of Impact, with many suggesting that the issue was centred around a hotel booking.

In case you didn’t know...

Bob Ryder has been with Impact Wrestling for a long time now, and he seems to have multi-purpose roles with the company.

Whilst he is indeed an executive with TNA, he’s also known for arranging the travel of Superstars. Ryder has been noted for several controversial comments that he’s made in the past, including having a problem with Destination America’s programming.

The heart of the matter

Karen Jarrett reportedly confronted Ryder regarding the booking of a hotel room, and following their argument, Jeff Jarrett then did the same before telling Bob to leave the taping. A lot of people were said to have felt sorry for Bob, as his current health situation has been a cause for concern.

The final argument took place as Ryder was preparing to get in his car and drive away from the situation.

What’s next?

As you can see in the above tweet, Ryder has stated that all is well between himself and the Jarretts despite what is being reported elsewhere. Ryder was said to have returned to work as normal, so it’s entirely possible that the issue will be entirely squashed moving forward.

Author’s take

It’s a concerning issue especially considering how volatile the Jarretts have come across in this story, but we still don’t have all of the concrete facts at our disposal so it’s important to take this with a pinch of salt.

The Jarretts are attempting to slowly rebuild the legacy of Impact, so ensuring that an incident like this doesn’t escalate would be the best possible thing for the company.
