Impact Wrestling/TNA News: Crazzy Steve to leave the company

Yet another Impact Wrestling star leaves the company

What’s the story?

The string of departures for TNA continues. The latest to quit the company is Steve Scott, better known has Crazzy Steve, best known for his time with the heel stable known as ‘The Decay’.

In case you didn’t know...

While the ownership of TNA has changed in the recent past, a multitude of talent have still quit the brand. This includes The Broken Hardys, Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett as well as former TNA Knockout, Jade. Former tag team champion Crazzy Steve is the latest superstar whose contract expired and was not renewed by the company thereafter. You may remember the superstar from his memorable programs with the Hardyz in ‘Delete or Decay’, ‘The Great War’ as well as ‘Total Nonstop Deletion’.

The heart of the matter

While the other departures haven’t really been very amicable, it seems like Crazzy Steve and Impact Wrestling have mutually decided to part. At the conclusion of the latest edition of the Impact Wrestling tapings, Steve sent this tweet out thanking everyone for his time in the company.

His stable ‘Decay’ also Tweeted about Steve’s departure, to which Crazzy Steve simply replied – #ForeverDecay

What's next?

It has become a habit to see talent leaving Impact Wrestling on a regular basis, ever since the ownership changed hands. As for Crazzy Steve, we do not doubt that he’ll find work in the independents. For all we know, he could be NXT bound.

Author’s Note

I’m personally a big fan of Crazzy Steve and his work in Decay, especially the stuff he did with the Hardyz. When he came out to the Marilyn Manson track- ‘The Nobodies', it sent a shiver down my spine, every single time. I wish him all the best. I also urge Impact Wrestling to not let such talented performers leave regularly.
