The Bloodline cost Jey Uso his Intercontinental Championship last week on WWE RAW. However, Jey got his revenge on SmackDown later in the week by causing Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to lose their WWE Tag Team Championships to The Motor City Machine Guns.

The main takeaway from the ongoing Bloodline drama has been the reunion of Jey and Jimmy Uso to take on Solo Sikoa and company. Fans have since wondered if this means Jey Uso is set to leave RAW permanently. The answer is no.

The Usos have agreed to present a united front against The Bloodline, but for now, this appears to be a one-off situation. It seems that RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has permitted Jey to appear on SmackDown to handle family matters, but Jey remains affiliated with the red brand. This was evident this week as Jey Uso opened the show on RAW.

However, if the Usos decide to permanently reunite as a tag team after their battles with The Bloodline, Jey could very well switch brands during the next Superstar Draft.

Rikishi shared his thoughts on Jey Uso losing the Intercontinental Championship on WWE RAW

Jey Uso heartbreakingly lost the Intercontinental Championship just 28 days after winning his first-ever singles title.

Rikishi, Jey Uso's legendary father, shared his thoughts on his son losing the title. He said that it was too soon. He mentioned that Jey was incredibly popular, probably selling the most merchandise. According to Rikishi, from a marketing standpoint, WWE could have done even more business if Jey had kept the Intercontinental Championship.

"I think it was too soon. He’s well over. Now this character, this Yeet man, is through the roof as far as notoriety. Probably selling the number one hottest merchandise, if not close to OTC, maybe surpassed it.From a marketing standpoint, you’re only going to do even more, better, good business if you leave that on this kid. I’m not saying that because he’s my boy. I’m not saying that. I’m speaking as a promoter now, because at the end of the day, this is what it’s about. It’s about numbers. It’s about revenues," Rikishi said.

It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for The YEET Master moving forward.
