It was a turbulent week for WWE superstar Logan Paul. The former United States Champion released another episode of his Impaulsive podcast, where he announced that he had retired from wrestling.

It was unclear whether this was real or a work, while UFC megastar Conor McGregor recently announced that he would have a match with Logan Paul in India.

However, eventually, it appeared that all this was work, and the former US Champion had not retired. Instead, he is preparing for the next chapter in his WWE career, which is a move to Monday Night RAW.

Paul appeared at the RAW on Netflix Kickoff Event on Wednesday and was introduced by GM Adam Pearce as the newest member of the red brand's roster. Not only that, but he shared his intention to become a world champion in 2025. It remains to be seen whether he will be a part-time or full-time wrestler this time.

Gunther takes a shot at Logan Paul; says he would dominate him in title match

Gunther didn't hold back after Logan Paul said that his target was to become a world champion on RAW. During a segment on the RAW on Netflix Kickoff Event, The Ring General took a shot at the former US Champion and said he would dominate him in a title match.

"If Logan Paul thinks he can walk in here and take this away from me, if he ever makes to the top of that line to challenge me for the World Heavyweight Championship, it will be my duty and my pleasure to slap that stupid smirk out of his face," Gunther said. (H/T 411Mania)

As the former US Champion is under contract with WWE for at least another year, we expect this match to take place in 2025. The RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6th will shed more light on what is next for Gunther and whether Paul will be the next to step up and challenge him for the match.

If this happens, WWE could schedule the match for the Royal Rumble, the first Premium Live Event of 2025, opening the way for new storylines ahead of WrestleMania 41.
