If Seth Rollins’ is a man of his word, then very soon folks, you shall find the man, covering security detail for the tabloid sensation, Kim Kardashian. Not that the professional wrestler, fresh on the heels of an injury, has shown any direct inclination to do so, but TMZ would love to disagree!
The news comes in light of a robbery incident where Kim Kardashian’s hotel room in Paris was robbed. To this effect, MMA veteran and UFC Hall of Famer, Ken Shamrock, who has both been a part of WWE and taken on the likes of Royce Gracie, Dan Severn and Tito Ortiz in the octagon for UFC, commented in a video that he would have done a better job of protecting Kim Kardashian.
He stated that in his presence none would have dared to rob the celebrity of her belongings. Ken Shamrock has been a bodyguard to celebrities before, in case you did not know, and now looks to qualify as protection for Kanye West’s better half!
Not even twenty-four hours had passed that the piece got wrestling and fans of the page-3 regular, Kim Kardashian were reacting to this puff piece of news. TMZ landed the opportunity to have one of their amateur contributors find Seth Rollins making his way through airport security and asks the former Shield enforcer to chip in his 2 cents on the matter.
When asked first if he likes Kim Kardashian, Seth Rollins responded with “I love Kim Kardashian”. The next question asked was “We think you would have done a better job than Shamrock at being Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard”. To this the dreary-eyed former Universal Champion had a smart quip waiting: “I would love to guard Kim’s body” before he rode the escalator and went out of range.
Surely it was a tongue in cheek comment and nothing more should be gleaned from it but it certainly would break the internet and mar the fine line between page 3 and professional wrestling, if ‘the Man’ decided to one-up Ken Shamrock and become Kim K’s bodyguard.
But what I am more curious about is whether Kanye West could also chime in or step up and get taller, stronger and sharper, and do exactly what Shamrock and Rollins are vying to do!
