Jojo
The WWE Title was defended at Hell in a Cell

Shinsuke Nakamura's title shot was next as the Artist made his way to the ring followed by The Maharaja, Jinder Mahal. The two wasted no time as Nakamura went for a kick to Mahal's knee but Mahal answered by grappling his challenger. Mahal went for the offence on Nakamura's left hand but missed before the challenger countered with an armbar.

The two headed outside and Mahal threw Nakamura over the barricades. The Maharaja caught Shinsuke in a headlock followed by shots to the spine and an arm lock. The two Superstars battled it out, with Mahal moving from resthold to resthold punctuated by shots to the shoulder and back of the Artist.

The Singh Brothers interfered as always, causing them to be banned from ringside by the official and as they distracted Shinsuke for one last time, Jinder went for the Khallas but missed, but so did Nakamura when he went for his own finisher. Jinder finally took advantage and hit him with the Khallas, getting the pin and retaining his WWE title with a clean victory for once.

Result: Jinder Mahal (c) def. Shinsuke Nakamura and retained the WWE Championship
