WWE Rumours: John Cena set to assume a reduced role in WWE
Looks like the Face may not be running the Place for much longer
WWE superstar John Cena has ceased working full-time for WWE and has reportedly trimmed his appearances at WWE Live events as well. This is sure to break the hearts of his legions of fans all over the world – reports allwrestlingnews.com.
Cena, who is widely considered as the poster boy for WWE, has been involved in a lot of project of late, making it extremely difficult to commit to WWE and also do justice to the other side jobs he’s associated with.
The 39-year-old has been with WWE since well over a decade and has a long and distinguished wrestling career to look back on, but that does not mean he’s wholly dependant on it for his bread and butter.
Besides WWE, Cena also has his finger in other pies including numerous endorsements, his own fashion line, a side career as a rapper, as well as being involved in numerous charitable activities, most notably for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
It now looks like Cena is heading the Dwayne Johnson way, with the latter leaving WWE to concentrate on his highly successful acting career, while occasionally appearing on WWE as The Rock.
