Kane joined the WWE in 1995, and he started off with the gimmick of “Dr Isaac Yankem”, a psychopathic dentist, even having a match with Bret Hart at Summerslam 1995. His next gimmick in 1996 was playing a fake Diesel after Kevin Nash left to WCW.

Bad Blood: In Your House, 1997 was when he made his debut as The Big Red Machine that we know today. He interfered in the first ever Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Kane was part of active storylines till 2015, until his reunion with The Undertaker against The Wyatt family that culminated in Survivor Series (an event commemorating The Undertaker’s 25 years in WWE).

Kane’s main venture outside WWE is that of an insurer. He, along with his wife Crystal own an insurance company known as “Jacobs Insurance Associates, LLC”. The company is based out of Knoxville, Tennessee. Kane is an active member of the Rotary Club, and also widely participates with the organisation “Faith to End Hunger”, which holds annual events to feed the poor.
