On tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW, Kevin Owens was attacked by The Authors of Pain during his match with Bobby Lashley. The duo then dragged Owens to the backstage area. Owens has now posted an update on Twitter, stating that he managed to escape from the clutches of AOP.
At last night's WWE Starrcade, Kevin Owens interrupted Lana and Bobby Lashley, and proceeded to hurl insults at the two. This was followed by a match that Lashley won via DQ after Rusev attacked him.
Tonight, Owens fought Lashley again but the match didn't reach a conclusion for the second time in a row. Owens was attacked by AOP, who then dragged him to the back. Soon after, Owens posted a tweet, and it seems like he successfully made an escape.
This wasn't the first time that The Authors of Pain attacked Owens. On last week's Monday Night RAW, AOP interfered in the main event featuring Owens and Seth Rollins, and proceeded to attack Owens. AOP teased an attack on Rollins too, but then simply walked off without laying a hand on The Beastslayer.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
