What's the story?
Sami Zayn turned his back on the WWE Universe at Hell In a Cell and has been on a roll ever since. To think that the man known as the "Heart and Soul of NXT" had this in him is, honestly, hilarious, and it seems that Kevin Owens agrees.
In case you didn't know...
Sami Zayn turned heel on October 8th, 2017 when he saved Kevin Owens from a death-defying drop from the top of the cell by Shane McMahon. Zayn pulled his then-rival off of the announce table, which McMahon crashed threw a split second later. Since then Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have made it their goal to make Shane McMahon's life on Tuesday's a living hell, cheating their way to the top and annoying him to no end.
The heart of the matter
Chris Jericho interviewed both Zayn and Owens on Talk is Jericho on January 17th and quickly got onto the subject of the "Kevin and Sami Show". The best friends talked about dealing with fans, their differing tastes in music, and starting out in Montreal.
When talking about their recent reunion on the Blue Brand, Owens told Jericho how humorous the whole situation has really become.
It's funny to see this reserved introverted character who has always been charismatic turn up the annoying features of his personality. It's funny because I'm always the same, but now I have this guy bouncing around me being as annoying as he can possibly be.
What's next?
Zayn and Owens are going into the Royal Rumble PPV on Sunday in a pretty great position, taking on the WWE Champion AJ Styles in a handicap match. The duo looks to become the first co-WWE Champions on January 28th and rule Tuesday Nights at the top of the card.

If you had told me a year ago Sami Zayn would be a great heel, I never would've believed you. Actually, there were quite a few people who figured a heel turn for Zayn would do wonders for his career, and I thought they were crazy.
But here we are. It's 2018, and Sami Zayn is one of the most entertaining characters on the main roster right now. Right now Zayn and Owens remind me of the Miz; extremely annoying, but they speak the truth. I can't wait to see where this story goes.
