Another way Kofi can still get his chance is through the voice of the fans. When the McMahon family took back control of the two brands a few months ago, they promised to give the fans what they want.

Playing along those lines, Vince could begin next week’s episode with a segment that he promised to give the fans what they want, but Kofi’s loss is the reason they won’t get it.

Therefore, he decides to give Kofi another chance just because the fans want to see him try and fail again.

To do this, Vince could set up a 6-on-1 handicap match for the end of the night, with the stipulation that if Kofi wins, he gets his match.

The men who’d make up the six-man tag team would include the same men he faced in the gauntlet match, namely Sheamus, Cesaro, Randy Orton, Rowan, Samoa Joe, and Daniel Bryan.

Kofi can overcome all odds once again to pin Rowan early, after which Vince could come out again and change the match to an elimination match, with Kofi having to pin all six men to get his chance for the title.
