Kurt Angle might pick Jeff Jarrett over WWE

Delaying his WWE return?

Delaying his WWE return?

In the start of this month there were rumors that Kurt Angle might return to WWE by September, but according to PWS “Kurt Angle could be the lead star of Jarrett’s new promotion. Despite Jarrett and Angle having issues in the past, the two are reportedly on good terms now.” Angle has talked about retiring in the WWE, the company which made him the great pro wrestler that he is today, but it looks like he won’t be returning to the company for one or two years, at least. And who knows whether he’ll be able to wrestle at the age of 48.

Angle’s TNA contract will end this year and it doesn’t look like that he’ll be renewing it. A big reason for this is TNA’s recent financial concerns, which led to the departure of some of the company’s biggest names like Hulk Hogan, Sting and AJ Styles, all of them were unwilling to accept big pay cuts. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian might also leave TNA once their contract expires. TNA are already suffering because of Angle’s recent injury, which has cut short his already few months in the company.

Jarrett’s new wrestling promotion would need a big name in order to draw the attention of the pro wrestling fans and roping in Angle would be a great way to kick-start a new brand. PWS also says that “Jarrett has been talent scouting at indie wrestling events and looking at videos of talents people are recommending to him, including a great deal of international talent.” It looks like Angle would join Jarrett and his ex-wife Karen to develop their new company for at least a year, and after that he can return to the WWE and retire gracefully.

An unexpected name just challenged Randy Orton RIGHT HERE.
