One of the earliest segments with regard to this storyline showed Kurt Angle being called a disgrace and an embarrassment. Why would anyone send him such messages but his boss? Who has more power than the Raw General Manager? We can only think of two such people. The first, Vince McMahon, appointed him to the post and this rules him out of the equation for now. The other is The Commissioner of Raw: Stephanie McMahon.

Ever since Stephanie McMahon took a table bump at Wrestlemania 33 and got written off TV, fans have wondered when she would return. We recently published another article in which we rubbished the idea of a romantic relationship between Angle and Stephanie, considering she is the Chief Brand Offer of WWE.
That does not mean that she can't confront him as the top heel of the brand and threaten to sack him! It’ll be a repeat of the Foley-Stephanie McMahon, so it may not really be interesting unless it does lead to an Angle vs. Triple H match at Summerslam in Brooklyn. Angle’s announcement, in this case, may be that his days are numbered.
