Kurt Angle’s neck tumor

- The neck tumor Kurt Angle discussed at the recent Impact tapings is not a serious issue according to the Wrestling Observer. Angle and his doctors have actually known about the it since 2012, but it has only recently become problem by trapping nerves and causing atrophy in his arm.

The surgery to remove the tumor will not keep him out of action for longer than a few weeks, and the company has already taped several episode through July, so he may not even miss TV.

More tapings will be filmed in late July that will likely take the show through November or December, which is beyond Destination America’s possible cut-off point in September.

- TNA Executive Andy Barton who has worked with Dixie Carter for nearly 20 years, even before TNA, has left the company according to an official statement.

“We wish TNA executive Andy Barton all the best as he pursues a new opportunity. Glad to have CSO Eric Sherman on board as we look to build on our powerful global brand, continue our rapid international growth and expand onto emerging platforms.”
