CJ Perry, better known to WWE fans as Lana, has spent several years as a manager in professional wrestling. Earlier this year, her stint with All Elite Wrestling came to an end.
There is a possibility that Lana could return to WWE. She could reunite with her former client, Andrade. CJ Perry briefly managed the Mexican star during their time in AEW. Hence, the global juggernaut might be considering bringing Perry back as a babyface to enhance the former NXT Champion's presentation.
On social media, the 39-year-old recently asked fans whether she should show up on RAW when it moves to Netflix in 2025. CJ Perry was released by WWE on June 2, 2021. However, she is friends with many stars in the Stamford-based promotion and may consider making a comeback after over three years.
Check out Lana's recent post below.
Andrade has been consistently delivering strong performances on SmackDown, but his character has historically thrived when paired with a manager. This was evident during his successful runs in NXT and on the main roster when Zelina Vega accompanied him. The Stamford-based promotion could look to replicate that dynamic by bringing Lana into the fold as the 35-year-old's new manager.
Former WWE star wants to emulate Paul Heyman
Paul Heyman is widely regarded as the best wrestling manager of the modern era. Over the past decade, he has been a cornerstone of professional wrestling, managing some of the biggest names in the industry, including Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns.
It’s no surprise that Heyman is the blueprint for many aspiring wrestling managers today. In a recent interview with USA Today, Lana echoed this sentiment. She revealed that her focus is on discovering talents, cultivating their potential, and helping them become the best wrestlers they can be. Perry added that she aspired to be a manager of Paul Heyman’s caliber.
"I'm really focused on finding talent and cultivating them and helping them become the best wrestler, champion possible, I guess you could say I want to be the Paul Heyman," Lana said. [H/T: USA Today]
It will be intriguing to see what the future holds for Lana. Fans will likely welcome her with open arms if she decides to return to the global juggernaut.
