#2 Shayna Baszler says moving to SmackDown in the Draft is a "restart"
The WWE Draft in October saw the entire landscape of WWE change dramatically.
Several superstars switched from Friday Night Smackdown to Monday Night RAW and vice versa. One name to swap the red brand for the blue brand was Shayna Baszler.
The former NXT Women's Champion had always been a member of RAW since making her main roster debut in 2020. Baszler agreed when she was asked if her move to SmackDown was a "restart" for her WWE career:
"Yeah, I've been on RAW the whole time I've been here. So, going over to SmackDown. There's a new locker room and there's a whole new crop of talent. On top of things personally in my career, I'm not in a tag team now. I've been in a tag team for a while, so it's a good way to look at it is that it's a restart." said Baszler
Baszler has never held the SmackDown Women's Championship during her career. Perhaps the move to SmackDown will facilitate new heights for the former Women's Tag Team Champion.
#1 Shayna Baszler reveals interesting WWE Survivor Series statistic about herself
Shayna Baszler boasts an impressive Survivor Series record in her WWE career to date.
Baszler's first appearance at the event came in 2019, when she defeated then-RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch and then-SmackDown Women's titleholder Bayley. Baszler was representing NXT in a triple threat, Champion vs Champion vs Champion match.
Last year she was a member of the RAW team that defeated SmackDown in a 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match. Baszler said that her team "always wins":
"I'm undefeated at Survivor Series, you know. My team always wins. So I always look forward to Survivor Series. Obviously, every pay-per-view is something that we all look forward to. But in particular, why am I not going to look forward to breaking some limbs off of some people? I've got a lot more choices at Survivor Series pay-per-views," Shayna said.
The WWE Universe will have to wait and see if Baszler can continue her Survivor Series undefeated streak and tonight's huge event at the Barclays Center.
