The biggest little man in the WWE

– Rey Mysterio has been one of the most awe-inspiring stars in the WWE. He made his debut back in 2002 and held the Cruiserweight Championship. Mysterio who had honed his craft in various other promotions before stepping foot into the WWE had a charismatic persona around him. Mysterio would later go on to be a WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champion and Royal Rumble winner.

Rey Mysterio was being hyped before making his debut and was an instant hit among the fans of all ages. His high flying luchador move set was a treat to watch. Rey Mysterio was a successful name and was the typical ‘big thing in a small package’.

He left the WWE in 2013 after the WWE decided to not give him a new deal, thus releasing him from their roster. But he might return back according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio.

He said that there had been some differences between Mysterio and the two promotions he works for namely Lucha Underground and AAA. According to reports Mysterio has had a fallout with the promotions due to unfulfilled contractual obligations where he was not paid his dues and has not appeared on AAA.

AAA and Lucha Underground hoped that Mysterio and Del Rio would be huge stars for them, but it seems that Mysterio would be following suit with Del Rio and making a return to the WWE.
