Current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio has reportedly suffered a broken rib in his match against Sheamus on Monday night RAW. He is currently working through it to get in shape.
Del Rio faced an injured Sheamus in a non-title match and emerged victorious after possum pinning the latter.
There is also news making rounds in the backstage area that Del Rio has developed a lot of heat with his fellow wrestlers. Even though there are no reports of bad blood shared between Del Rio and the WWE management, fellow WWE superstars are unhappy with his ‘physicality’ in the ring. Del Rio recently injured Randy Orton last week and was also accused of causing Ziggler a concussion after a hard kick to the head.
