WWE News: TLC main event announced featuring The Shield

It was a long time coming but The Shield finally reformed in Indianapolis. It was the city where they debuted, the city where they broke up, and subsequently, on this fine October day, The Shield got back together.

It really shouldn't have come as a huge surprise for the fans in attendance because WWE was already selling a brand-new t-shirt for The Shield at the merchandise stand before the show.

The Shield hit The Miz with a classic triple powerbomb and left the Intercontential Champion seething with anger and writhing in pain. While was backstage icing down his injuries Kurt Angle walked in to start a conversation.

The Miz expressed much displeasure over the way he was treated and wanted something to be done about it. Therefore, Kurt Angle booked a match to settle things at TLC.

The main event at TLC will be a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match featuring The Shield vs The Bar and The Miz.

After hearing this news, the IC Champ wasn't happy in the slightest. But it will certainly be entertaining to see what The Shield can do and just maybe walk to the ring through the crowd to their old "Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta" once more.

EDIT: We've just learned that Braun Strowman has been added to the match, as well. Looks like it will be a handicap match at TLC with The Shield, taking on The Miz, The Bar and Braun Strowman. The match is far more unpredictable now!
