Bully Ray injury possible way of writing him off TV
At last night's TV taping, during a Full Metal Mayhem match between The Wolves, The Hardys and Team 3D, Bully Ray came off a ladder in a big spot with Jeff Hardy. Doctors came to ringside along with Tommy Dreamer and other officials, and helped Bully to the back while the match continued. Bully Ray looked like he was legitimately hurt.
However, there’s also the possibility that the spot was planned out this way, and TNA will be writing the new Hall of Famer off television. He is currently working with the company on a per-appearance basis to finish up the current “Best Of” series for the TNA Tag Team Championships, and to appear at Bound for Glory in Japan next month to get inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame.
Samoa Joe was forced to vacate the X-Division Championship. He stated that he wasn’t medically cleared to compete, and regrettably had to give up the belt. Tigre Uno, DJ Zema Ion, Low Ki and Manik wrestled in a Fatal 4 Way match to crown a new X-Divison Champion later in the night and Low Ki won the match & is now the new X-Division Champion.
New TNA Knockouts and World Tag Team champions
Taryn Tarrell defeated Havok and Gail Kim in a triple threat match to become the new TNA Knockouts Champion. Havok just became the champion two nights ago at the Wednesday night taping, but with TNA taping so many episodes at once, it’s unclear when they’ll be airing each of the segments from this week.
James Storm and Abyss defeated The Wolves to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions. As noted earlier in this article, The Wolves also competed in a Full Metal Mayhem match in the same night against Team 3D and The Hardys.
As noted earlier this week, Bobby Roode defeated Bobby Lashley to become the new TNA World Champion, this means that all the titles changed hands at this week's tapings. However the order of these episodes airing is still unclear.
