Mark Henry convinced his own wife about retirement

Mark Henry has revealed that he even convinced his own wife about his retirement from the sport, which eventually was a story line for his feud with John Cena.

Henry’s wife Jana said that her husband told her about the retirement plans a month before the feud started. Henry used his Twitter account to foreshadow his retirement and reached out to various celebrities who were left shocked after realising that it was just part of a story line.

Henry was talking to “Mohr Stories” on JayMohr.com and added that his key priority still remains at home.

“I want to be known as a great dad more than anything. Kids – young men find it uncool to be a dad I think. It’s very cool to me. I love being at home with my kids. I got pissed yesterday because I get a call and a video that my daughter swam for the first time without the floaties on. I miss all that kind of stuff,” he said.
