#2 Sonya Deville/Mandy Rose

Is everything okay in the Fire and Desire camp?

The seeds for dissension between the two friends who formed a bond on Tough Enough have been planted at several different points over the last few months. When Mandy Rose challenged Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Title at Fastlane, Deville tried 'to help Rose win', but it actually backfired and cost Rose the match.

Rose inadvertently did the same thing when Deville fought Asuka shortly after Rose lost her match with the 'Empress of Tomorrow'. When they were told that only one of them would receive a spot in this year's MITB match, WWE had a quick backstage segment on SmackDown where the friends discussed who would get the spot.

Deville said that Rose should have it because she had 'unfinished business' with the title. She also knew that Rose was only pretending to say that she (Deville) should have the spot, which leads me to believe that Deville is hip to all the tricks Rose plays in order to get what she wants.

The situation is strange because if Deville costs Rose a chance to grab the briefcase, then who is the heel in the situation? She'd turn on her friend which usually makes that person the heel, but Rose has been manipulative of Deville in the past.

Rose has also been more heelish with the rest of the roster, so would that net her any sympathy? Deville could simply be tired of Rose's tricks and leave her in the dust. That could make her either a heel or a face because of who she could potentially betray.

This past week's SmackDown planted more seeds when Rose tagged herself in after Deville was ready to go for the pin. Deville left the ring thinking that the win was in the bag, but Rose's arrogance caused her to get pinned instead. Will these seeds turn into something tangible or are they just done randomly? With WWE lately, who knows for sure?
