One of the WWE veterans to have never won the Money in the Bank ladder match, this could very well be Rey Mysterio's last shot at the coveted briefcase. Although he is expected to put up a big fight, most signs suggest that The Master of the 619 is unlikely to come out of top this time as well.

Just has been the case during the rest of his current run with WWE, expect Mysterio to be involved in segments that would get another figure over with the fans. Given his diminutive figure, it won't be surprising if a WWE Superstar decided to throw The Ultimate Underdog off the roof.

WWE could use this opportunity to bring about a potential heel turn or even solidify the status of a largely shrewd Superstar such as King Corbin. There's a good chance that WWE might not have much left for Mysterio at this point. So this could also be a way to write him off television at Money in the Bank.
