#2 Asuka

She would be a great Money in the Bank winner.
She would be a great Money in the Bank winner.

Out of everyone in the match, Asuka might be the most popular choice to win the women's Money in the Bank ladder match. Her work over the past seven months has been outstanding, proving just how valuable she is to WWE.

Asuka has been a revelation as a heel, teaming with Kairi Sane for a fairly successful run as the Women's Tag Team Champions. Her schtick with the green mist has also been pretty over, as well as some stellar performances against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.

But the one element that would warrant Vince McMahon booking Asuka as Miss Money in the Bank would be the work she put in since WWE started working shows at the Performance Center. Asuka has been one of WWE's MVPs during this period.

The Empress has been so entertaining in the ring, as well as on commentary. Her promos in Japanese are so intense and well-delivered, that you buy into her even if you don't understand what she is saying. If it is based on merit, Asuka should win Money in the Bank.

She would be a fantastic Champion as well. It's time for her to have a permanent return to singles competition as well, with no better way than cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Becky Lynch and renewing rivalries with her.
