"1 year of chaos" - SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley celebrates anniversary in WWE

The Judgment Day's Rhea Ripley recently celebrated an anniversary in WWE.

Rhea is in the middle of the best year of her career so far. She won the Women's Royal Rumble match as the first entrant and outlasted 29 other female superstars. She avenged her loss to Charlotte Flair at 'Mania 36 by defeating The Queen at WrestleMania 39 to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion.

The Eradicator had her first successful title defense this past Saturday night at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico. LWO's Zelina Vega challenged Ripley to the title and got a tremendous reaction from the crowd. Vega gave it her all, but it was not enough, and Ripley walked out of the premium live event as the reigning SmackDown Women's Champion.

Rhea Ripley recently took to Twitter to celebrate one year with The Judgment Day faction. A year ago, on May 8, Ripley joined the group by helping Edge defeat AJ Styles at Backlash, and the rest is history.

After a few weeks, The Judgment Day betrayed Edge once Finn Balor was added to the faction.

Rhea Ripley boasts about her victory over Zelina Vega at WWE Backlash

Rhea Ripley defeated Zelina Vega at WWE Backlash to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship in front of a passionate crowd.

The WWE Universe in Puerto Rico brought their energy to the show and fully got behind Zelina in the match. Rhea was simply too much for the challenger, and The Eradicator picked up an impressive victory. After her successful title defense, she was interviewed backstage by Megan Morant and claimed that she shut the fans up for good.

I felt amazing because you know what they were behind Zelina Vega so much and I shut them all up for good. When Mami walked out, the SmackDown Women's Champion still, and Zelina Vega was left in the ring like a little pretzel. So, yeah you could say I'm pretty ecstatic. That's all you're getting from me. The Judgment Day has brought out the best in Rhea Ripley and helped turn Dominik into one of the biggest heels in WWE. Only time will tell if the group will be able to stick together for long enough to be able to celebrate another anniversary next year.
