WWE star Cody Rhodes has a target on his back after winning the Undisputed WWE Championship. He defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL to win the title.
The American Nightmare kicked off SmackDown this week, talking about his win at Bash in Berlin. He then turned his attention to the unfinished business with The Bloodline. Rhodes called out the faction and attempted to drive a wedge between them by claiming that Jacob Fatu was more deserving of a title shot than Solo Sikoa.
Just when things were about to get out of hand, SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis stepped in and announced that Rhodes would defend his title against Sikoa next week in a Steel Cage Match.
On The SmackDown Lowdown this week, WWE correspondent Byron Saxton tried to get some thoughts from The Bloodline. Sikoa mentioned he would win the title next week and ensure that Rhodes acknowledged him as the Tribal Chief. The 31-year-old then told Saxton to get out of their locker room as the rest of The Bloodline looked on intimidatingly.

"Next week, in a Steel Cage Match, when I beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed [WWE] Title, he's gonna have no choice just like everybody at home to acknowledge me. You should probably leave now." [2:49 - 3:12]
Cody Rhodes has been a fighting champion
Since winning the WWE Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania XL, Cody Rhodes has not shied away from defending his title.
The American Nightmare has stitched together a series of successful title defenses over the 150+ days he has held the gold. He has defeated AJ Styles, Logan Paul, Solo Sikoa, and even Kevin Owens in championship matches.
Next week, Rhodes will be inside a dangerous Steel Cage, with Solo Sikoa across the ring from him. It will be interesting to see whether The American Nightmare can walk out of the satanic structure with the gold still around his waist.
