Sami Zayn didn't have the best time on the RAW before King & Queen of the Ring 2024. He lost to Chad Gable, but the man who ended up costing him the match approached him and apologized, teasing a face turn.

This week on RAW, Chad Gable was an absolute menace. He berated all of his Alpha Academy members, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa, and especially Otis. He called Otis his biggest disappointment. After ejecting Maxxine and Akira Tozawa from ringside for not helping, Chad Gable needed Otis' help to beat Sami Zayn.

Later on backstage, Otis approached Sami Zayn and seemed genuine in his apology, which Sami accepted. The Intercontinental Champion told Otis that he was a good guy and forgave him.

Later backstage, Otis went to Chad Gable and told him that he apologized to Sami Zayn. While taken aback at first, Gable thought it was a smart move on Otis' part to try to tug on the champion's heartstrings.

Otis, for his part, didn't deny it, but his facial expressions and overall demeanor suggested that he genuinely regretted his actions. Gable told Otis that he had his visa, flight tickets, etc. booked for Saudi Arabia this weekend and demanded full reassurance that Otis would be there to help him capture the Intercontinental Championship.

In an ironic twist, Gable called Otis his number-one man after previously slapping him and calling him the biggest disappointment earlier on the same night.

Earlier in the show, Bronson Reed mocked Sami for his involvement with The Alpha Academy and vowed to have the biggest moment of his career by winning the Intercontinental Title.
