One of the hardest things to do for WWE Superstars is to stay in shape as they travel and perform all the time. A 32-year-old SmackDown star recently shared his impressive physique following Friday's show in Lexington, Kentucky.
Angel of Los Garza has been with WWE since 2019, starting in NXT before getting called up to the main roster a year later. He has had several gimmick changes over the past five years and is currently teaming up with Berto under Legado del Fantasma.
A day after the June 13 episode of SmackDown inside the Rupp Arena, Angel shared a picture of himself showing off his six-pack abs. He has managed to stay in shape along with Berto, who also has been in the best shape of his career.
Angel also shared a message ahead of Los Garza's match at AAA's Triplemanía Regia III on Sunday at Arena Monterrey. It's a homecoming for Angel and Berto, who were both born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico.
"We’ve already visualized the goal now we’re going all in until we reach it," Angel tweeted.
Los Garza is set to be part of a four-way tag team match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship currently held by Sansón and Forastero of Nueva Generación Dinamita. Other teams in the match are TNA Wrestling's Ryan and Nic Nemeth, and the team of Psycho Clown and Pagano.
Legado del Fantasma emerged victorious at WWE's Worlds Collide Event
WWE's first big event involving AAA talents was held during the Money in the Bank weekend in Los Angeles. Worlds Collide featured stars from WWE, NXT, and AAA, including Legado del Fantasma.
The trio of Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto outlasted Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown. The latter two have an opportunity to exact revenge this Sunday at Triplemanía Regia III.
If Los Garza gets the win in Monterrey, it will be their first gold as a team under WWE. It will also be Berto's first taste of a championship since joining the biggest wrestling company in the world in 2018.
