Following the success of many recent international WWE Premium Live Events, a current SmackDown superstar has stated his interest in another potentially huge event outside of the US.

Over the past year, World Wrestling Entertainment has been hosting multiple huge events around the world, with Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales, Elimination Chamber in Montreal, Canada, and most recently, Backlash in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

With all events being a hit with both fans at home and in the arena, Santos Escobar stated on social media that he would love to see a Premium Live Event in his home country of Mexico.

The company's next two Premium Live Events are also set to be outside of the States, with Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia and then Money In The Bank in London.

Former WWE star is a huge fan of Santos Escobar.

Having performed in NXT and currently SmackDown, the 39-year-old star has worked in the business for over 20 years.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, former WWE Superstar Chavo Guerrero revealed that he is a big fan of Escobar, with the two stars having worked together prior to Santos joining the company.

"He [Santos Escobar] was awesome in Lucha Underground. I was a huge fan of him. We still talk back and forth all the time. We love each other. He's awesome. The other guys are doing really, really well also. I'm super happy to see it take off again and give some Latinos some respect, but it's kinda rehashing it. I mean, just like redoing everything. Some movies that Hollywood redoes are good, some aren't that good." [2:51 – 3:16] (H/T Sportskeeda)

In recent months, Escobar's star power has escalated after Rey Mysterio invited him, Zelina Vega, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro to join a revamped version of the LWO (Latino World Order).
