CM Punk was always an important part of the WWE roster, however, following his pipebomb in 2011, 'The Second City Saint' saw a huge rise in his stock to became one of the hottest Superstars in the world of professional wrestling.

If Punk was still a part of the WWE roster today, the dream matches that would've been lined up for the former WWE Champion would've been off the charts! Punk vs Adam Cole, Punk vs AJ Styles, Punk vs Shinsuke Nakamura, or Punk vs Kevin Owens are just a few of them.
However, that wasn't the case, as Punk departed from WWE in 2014 and hasn't got back into the ring since then.
