In a shocking turn of events, Ron Killings made his return at tonight's WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. He attacked John Cena during the main event of the show, helping Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeat the villains.
Shortly after the unexpected return, ex-WWE star The Blue Meanie revealed he was also once brought back after major fan backlash. Here's what the 52-year-old wrote on X:
"I was released by WWF in 99 and was immediately brought back after a "Save The Meanie" was started by the "Strictly ECW" crew. Russo told me they inundated their email system and flooded the call banks. JR called me and said, "There's been a reprieve from the warden."
