Adam Pearce's job is essentially to make big decisions and often, unpopular decisions. On RAW this week, he fined a superstar for betraying his faction member in a brutal assault.

On the latest edition of RAW, a shocking moment took place after Imperium's defeat to The New Day. While Gunther was upset, Ludwig Kaiser took matters into his own hands by brutally assaulting Giovanni Vinci - ending the latter's time in the faction. The assault continued even after Kaiser was held back as he escaped to inflict further damage.

In a response to that assault backstage, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce informed Ludwig Kaiser that he needed to come to his office with a chequebook - indirectly stating that he would be fined. Kaiser, in response, simply said "money well spent."

It marks a new chapter for Imperium, with Kaiser always having been the #2 man. There was a time when Vinci looked like he was entering that #2 spot, but that isn't the case anymore.

It will be interesting to see how Giovanni Vinci responds to the assault. As for Gunther, he declared that he will be entering the King of the Ring tournament, which will culminate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, later next month.

We may not know exactly how much Adam Pearce has fined Ludwig Kaiser.
