WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss recently shared a social media update amid rumors of her potential return to the squared circle. The 33-year-old has been absent from the Stamford-based company's programming since January 2023.

The former RAW Women's Champion's last in-ring appearance was at Royal Rumble 2023. She lost to Bianca Belair in a title match. After the match, Uncle Howdy appeared on the Titantron to mock The Five Feet of Fury for her loss. Following her loss to The EST, Bliss decided to take a break from professional wrestling and focus on her pregnancy.

Alexa Bliss recently took to Instagram Stories to refer to herself as a 'cool mom.' She posted a picture of a denim jacket with the definition of the 'cool mom' engraved on the back.

"I'm not a 'regular mom' ... I'm a 'cool mom,'" wrote Bliss.

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss opens up about the importance of taking time away from wrestling

Alexa Bliss has been absent from television for over one and a half years. The WWE Universe expected her to return as a part of The Wyatt Sicks. The mysterious faction debuted at the end of the June 17 edition of Monday Night RAW, and many fans believe The Goddess' first appearance following her hiatus might still be as a part of the Uncle Howdy-led group.

In an interview with The Messenger last year, Bliss highlighted the importance of time away from professional wrestling for the performers. She claimed it gives the fans the time to miss the superstar. The former champion further stated that being away from the business allows performers to work on the character they portray and evolve with time.

"Time away and reinventing a character, and evolving yourself is the key to career longevity at WWE. So I always say time away is such a good thing because it gives people the time to miss you. When you’re being seen on WWE [TV] three or four times an episode, you don’t really have anywhere to go with your character. So whenever you take time off, it’s always a good time to evolve and to keep going," she said. [H/T: The Messenger]

In a recent social media update, Bliss addressed the rumors of her potential return. Although she did not mention any details, the WWE Superstar noted that she would make a return.
