WWE is in a new era, and Becky Lynch made an immediate impact as she captured the vacant Women's World Championship for the first time in her illustrious career.
Earlier this year, The Man charged into WrestleMania against Rhea Ripley in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, Lynch couldn't topple Ripley and lost to the champion during the two-night event in Philadelphia.
However, Becky Lynch received a second chance at the title when Rhea Ripley relinquished it due to an injury. A Battle Royal took place on Monday Night RAW, and The Man captured the Women's World Championship.
After the match, she sent a heartfelt message as the new Women's World Champion. She also mentioned her husband Seth Rollins and daughter Roux and the sacrifices she made by leaving them at home to compete in the title match.
"I left my daughter for eight days. I left my husband the day he had surgery. But now I get to go home and show them that it was worth it."
Lynch can proudly return home to Seth Rollins and Roux with gold around her waist.
Becky Lynch breaks silence after winning the Women's World Championship on WWE RAW
Last year, Becky Lynch spent months working with the stars of yesteryear and tomorrow to uplift the women's division in the Stamford-based promotion. The Man also went down to the developmental brand and became the WWE NXT Women's Champion.
After a fruitful run on the developmental brand, she went after the Women's World Championship. On a recent episode of Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch captured the title after eliminating Liv Morgan.
The Man addressed her title win after the show and spoke about her daughter and husband. She revealed that Seth Rollins and Roux stayed up late and saw her win the title in the main event of WWE RAW.
"Everything that I do, I want to make her [Becky Lynch's daughter] proud, you know. I hope she’s proud! She did [stay up late to watch the match]. I got a text from my husband [Seth Rollins], who’s recovering from surgery. At all stages, we need at least one champ in the house. So I’m bringing it home, baby," said Lynch.
