Bill Apter says 34-year-old star may return to WWE and immediately challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship (Exclusive)

WWE RAW this past Monday night was a stacked show, featuring returns, exciting matches, and teases for the future. The episode also saw a new champion crowned in the main event. Now-former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso took on Gunther and ultimately lost his gold.

The Ring General reclaimed his title and became a two-time World Heavyweight Champion with his win over Jey Uso. Gunther's title win now opens the door for several first-time-ever matches, including a potential showdown against the 34-year-old Ludwig Kaiser.

The Austrian's teammate, Ludwig Kaiser, has been missing from WWE programming for a while now. On Sportskeeda WrestleBinge's WrestleVotes Q&A, Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter claimed that Kaiser might return soon and immediately challenge his longtime friend for the title.

"Now that Gunther is champion again, they can have some creative with Ludwig Kaiser coming back and wanting a shot at The Ring General," Apter said. [From 20:38 onwards]

Gunther and Kaiser had been teammates for a long time. Fans are eagerly waiting for the return of The A-Plus Specimen. Given the duo's storied history, a potential singles match between them will capture viewers' attention.
