WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently gave his thoughts on AEW President Tony Khan failing to sign a member of his family, Jacob Fatu.

Fatu is the son of Sam Fatu, aka The Tonga Kid, and the nephew of Rikishi. The 32-year-old reportedly signed with WWE recently after a successful five-year run in MLW. He also wrestled for NJPW earlier in 2024.

Speaking on the Off The Top Podcast, Rikishi questioned why Khan did not hire Fatu:

"Jacob Fatu now has to do Jacob Fatu and do the work. Now, to AEW, Tony Khan: boy, y'all f****d up. Drop another bomb on that. And when I say that, boy, how did you guys pass up on this talent? Like Jacob Fatu. You already seen, Tony Khan, the hottest thing in WWE for the last three years is The Bloodline. Numbers don't lie." [38:54 – 39:28]

Fatu is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion and National Openweight Champion. He recently sent a message to The Rock following his in-ring return at WrestleMania XL.

Rikishi thinks Tony Khan should have replicated The Bloodline story

Many fans believe Roman Reigns and The Bloodline are part of one of the greatest wrestling storylines of all time.

Rikishi, the father of Solo Sikoa and The Usos, thinks Tony Khan could have created his own version of The Bloodline with other Anoa'i family members:

"If AEW, well, they did drop the ball on Jacob, but, man, y'all could have just, if you were gonna try to replica something, replica something that makes money. You know what I mean? There were plenty of other guys outside. I mean, Bloodline, we got a huge family, and you could have just formed your own, but whatever the reason is, the bottom line: y'all f****d up." The WWE legend also gave his take on AEW airing footage of CM Punk's confrontation with Jack Perry at All In 2023.
