John Cena is set for a huge, unexpected rematch next week on SmackDown, and his opponent will be none other than a former Tag Team Champion who has been making his life a living hell.
This week on the blue brand, we saw the renewed version of Ron Killings go after John Cena not once, but twice. The first time led to Cena getting into a shouting contest with General Manager Nick Aldis. The second time, Cena called Killings out to meet him face-to-face, but it was CM Punk who came out instead.
Funnily enough, the segment ended with Cena nearly tapping to Ron Killings, all while Punk told him that "The truth hurts." While Aldis was reprimanding Killings backstage, he approved of a rematch, and the two will face off next week.
WWE failed to hide these secrets - Check them out!
These are vastly different circumstances from their bout at Saturday Night's Main Event. However, like their SNME bout, this one may not have the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line.
What does have the title on the line is the Night of Champions bout between Cena and CM Punk in what will be their last-ever bout against each other.
Ron Killings will be looking to make a massive statement on SmackDown next week.
