Last week on RAW, Ricochet confronted Ilja Dragunov backstage when Bron Breakker speared him. Tonight on the red brand, Ricochet was cleared to compete, and he demanded a match against Dragunov, but Adam Pearce informed him that Breakker was in the arena tonight.
Ilja Dragunov then walked into the trainer's room, thanked him for pushing him aside last week, and offered a rematch to Ricochet. The former Intercontinental Champion then said that he could face Ilja tonight. The former NXT star said that he doesn't fight broken people. Ricochet informed him that he was cleared by medical, and Pearce also made the match official.

Both men were in the middle of a highly competitive match. Neither men were willing to let the other get the better of them. However, this incredible match was cut short when Bron Breakker ambushed Ricochet. Ilja tried to fight him off, but Breakker speared him. Adam Pearce came out to the ring to check on the stars, and he was furious at Breakker over the attack.
It remains to be seen if the 26-year-old will be reprimanded for his actions this week as well as last week.
