WWE News: Brooklyn Brawler talks Hulk Hogan and possible WWE return

Brooklyn Brawler is currently planning to write a book.

Steve Lombardi, better known as ‘The Brooklyn Brawler’ was recently interviewed by False Comeback where he talked about his upcoming book, the biggest pranksters in the WWE and much more. Here are some excerpts from the interview.

Firstly, The Brooklyn Brawler was asked if there was anyone who he hasn’t wrestled that he wanted to, He responded by saying:

“To tell you the truth I can't even tell you somebody I haven't wrestled cause I've almost wrestled everybody.”

He also mentioned that he has several stories about his time in the WWE which he has talked about in his book. He also said that he revealed some of the stories when he appeared on Chris Jericho’s podcast.

When asked about the status of the book, he replied:

"I haven't yet but it's in the works. It's gonna be beyond something. If you thought the podcast was good wait till you hear the stories in the book, I could elaborate a little bit more."

He was further asked if the book would include anecdotes, he said that there were plenty of them in the book. Upon the topic of ribbers (meaning wrestlers who played practical jokes on others), he proceeded by revealing some of the biggest ribbers in the business:

"Master ribber would have to be -- Davey Boy was a good ribber, Owen Hart was a master ribber, Marty Jannetty was a ribber, there was so many”

Moving on, he was asked about the new generation and the role he played in bringing them up. He replied:

"You see people in WWE that came through me, already had a talent that was not yet discovered and if it wasn't discovered by me it would have been discovered eventually."

He also commented about his relationship with Hulk Hogan by saying:

“All I can say is Hogan was one of the greatest guys I've ever met, he's a tremendous talent, he got one of the biggest pops I've ever heard in my life in the business. I don't got a bad thing to say about Hogan."

To conclude, he was asked about his return to the WWE to which he had to say:

"You said the words, never say never."

Brooklyn Brawler had a 32-year long career with the WWE and is one of the very few persons who has seen it all. Here is a glimpse of the interview:
