Chavo recalled the relationship in the Guerrero Family

Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Eddie Guerrero had an interesting relationship. Although they were technically nephew and uncle, they only had a three-year age gap between them. It wasn't a conventional relationship, as Chavo Guerrero revealed in his latest Exclusive Interview.

Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter spoke to Chavo Guerrero Jr., who spoke about the complicated family dynamic they had. He said that if it were up to him, he would title a book about his family, "Growing up Guerrero."

He went on to explain that things weren't easy growing up in his family and that his biggest idols were the likes of WWE legend Eddie Guerrero, his father Chavo Classic, and his uncle Mando among others:

"It was not easy. There's a reason why all of us are tough. All of our idols were family. Mine was Eddie [Guerrero], my dad, my uncle Mando [Guerrero]. The second you have to stand up and fight for your life out of the ring with your mentors, your idols. Then nobody scares you anymore." [5:44 - 6:10]

He said that nothing and nobody scares him because of his upbringing in the Guerrero family. He shared that he once had a competitive-yet-heated confrontation with Eddie Guerrero in a gym:

"Unfortunately, I had to do a few settlements at different times, the second that I meet Eddie, and this is out of the ring, this is in a Gold's Gym in El Paso, Texas, and we were face-to-face and we were FUing each other, and we were like 'you jump, you jump'. None of us did because we had too much love for each other. Once you do that, there's nobody else in the world that scares you." [6:12 - 6:40]

Chavo Guerrero revealed how both he and Eddie Guerrero were mistakes

While it sounds odd, Chavo Guerrero was very open in telling Bill Apter that he and his uncle Eddie Guerrero were "mistakes." He described Eddie Guerrero as a "late mistake" and himself as an early one:

"He was my grandfather's late mistake and I was my father's early mistake. So both of us were not supposed to be here. We were brothers. He was technically my uncle, but we were just three years apart and we grew up as brothers a 100%. We fought like brothers, we loved like brothers." [0:43 - 1:10]
