Chelsea Green teased a potential reunion with an absent WWE Superstar today on social media. The star in question has not competed in a televised match since the March 6, 2023, episode of WWE RAW.
Carmella has not wrestled since her loss to Bianca Belair last March. She recently welcomed a son to her family with her husband, WWE commentator Corey Graves. The 36-year-old used to be in a tag team with Chelsea Green back in the day, and the WWE SmackDown star hinted at a potential reunion today.
Green took to her Instagram story to repost a fan compilation of herself and Carmella. The fan referred to the two stars as an amazing duo, and you can check out Green's post on her Instagram story by clicking here.
Chelsea Green was moments away from winning the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match earlier this year but was shoved off of the ladder by Tiffany Stratton. The Buff Barbie went on to win the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match and can cash in for a title opportunity at a time of her choosing.
Chelsea Green names stars outside WWE she wants to work with
SmackDown star Chelsea Green recently named a few stars outside WWE she would like to get in the ring with.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Emily Mae earlier this year, the former Women's Tag Team Champion noted that there are several Japanese wrestlers that she would like to face. Chelsea Green added that she could probably name a bunch of stars she would like to face if she had the time to watch more wrestling.
"Here's the thing like, now all the girls that I wrestled with are here. It was Asuka, as Kana. It was IYO, it was Kairi. I mean, even Giulia, like, all these amazing Japanese wrestlers are now here. The one person that I did wrestle in Stardom that is not here is Mayu (Iwatani). So that would be interesting. We also got Momo (Watanabe) that was really, really talented. So, I mean, honestly, the list goes on. If we went and watched all the Japanese companies right now, I could probably tell you 50. There are so many females in Japan that are so talented."
