CM Punk has been on a hiatus after suffering several injuries at WWE Bad Blood. A new photo of The Second City Saint has surfaced during his break from the ring.
Punk appears in the recently released 'Let’s Start A Cult' film. He is one of the top stars who will be appearing in the dark comedy.
Following Let’s Start A Cult’s premiere, CM Punk took to Instagram to reshare a post by his co-star Stavros Halkias. The post has a picture of Punk with a new haircut. You can check out the post he shared on his Instagram story below (Image No. 5):
Here is what CM Punk’s co-star wrote in the caption of the post:
"Let’s Start a Cult is in theaters TODAY!!!!! Go see it with a couple pals! It’s a fun, stupid 90 minute comedy that a ton of talented people worked hard as sh*t to make happen. Can’t believe they let my b*tch a** star in and co-write a movie with my boys @westonhaney and @ben_kitnick . The cast is stacked with hilarious people and everyone on the crew was so good at their job they made our dumb script feel like a real movie," Halkias wrote.
The Best in the World stepped back from the WWE ring after his brutal match at Bad Blood. He defeated Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell but left the contest with a few injuries.
CM Punk could head over to WWE NXT for a few matches
CM Punk has been impressed by WWE NXT and Shawn Michaels' work on a few occasions since his return. He recently officiated a match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams on the CW Network premiere of the show.
Page has some unfinished business with Punk, and the two could come face-to-face soon. The former NXT Champion seemingly mocked The Best in the World during a recent backstage promo.
That could see Punk interfere in the Devil’s Playground Match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc. It could lead to a full-blown rivalry between the two stars that could lead to some top matches on the NXT brand before Punk returns to RAW.
