After dethroning Roman Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania XL, Rhodes defended his gold against multiple opponents. His latest title defense came against Kevin Owens at the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event.

Many anticipated that The American Nightmare would once again feud with the Head of the Table for the title. However, The Original Tribal Chief seems to be busy with another storyline with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline at the moment.

This is an extremely rare post, as Cody barely uploads videos or photos of his personal life.

Former WWE Superstar believes Kevin Owens will turn heel against Cody Rhodes

During an edition of the REEBOOKED Wrestling Podcast, former WWE Superstar Matthew Rehwoldt (fka Aiden English) said he loved watching Cody Rhodes' match against Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin.

Rehwoldt also mentioned that he believed Owens would eventually turn heel against The American Nightmare.

"I love all those moments of whether it was the knee, the Powerbomb on the apron, or just, like, not doing it. And I love that because it's just I love seeing those moments. It tells a very clear but very good story. And then I really think this is gonna lead; I think we're still getting to a Kevin Owens a little bit aggressive heel turn at some point. But I think this is a wonderful way to get there," he said.

It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for Cody Rhodes' future.
