While Jey and Damian are currently on the same page, things were not always quite smooth sailing between the two superstars. Earlier this year, Uso unsuccessfully challenged Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash France.

Over the last several years, Jey Uso has unsuccessfully challenged for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on multiple occasions. At SummerSlam 2023, The Yeet Master came agonizingly close to dethroning Roman Reigns but was denied by Jimmy Uso, who betrayed his brother.
After joining Monday Night RAW, Jey also failed to win the Intercontinental Championship while Gunther was the champion, courtesy of interference by Jimmy. Earlier this year, he also failed to win the Money in the Bank contract.
With Jey capturing his first singles title in the Stamford-based company, it remains to be seen which superstar will step up as his next challenger.
