Big E suffered a scary injury at SmackDown on Friday night.

It's been a rough few days for New Day member Big E. The former WWE Champion got dropped on his head Friday night on SmackDown due to a miscalculated belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland.

The severity of the botch was illustrated by the fact that its replay was never shown. The Powerhouse of Positivity was stretchered out folllowing the match, but was thankfully able to give a thumbs up to the WWE Universe on his way out of the arena.

Diamond Dallas Page saw the incident on SmackDown and took to Instagram with a unique offer for E. The WWE Hall of Famer and yoga guru offered to help the New Day member rehab his neck with DDP Yoga once he's able to do so:

"After last nights #SMACKDOWN my heart goes out to my brother @wwebige If you need me brother I got you, after @nxtciampa & @ivar_wwe got done with their broken neck rehab they both came to my crib and stayed a few days with me to #DDPY Rebuild @austincreedwins has my # don’t hesitate to reach out my friend! @wwe #wwe YOU got THIS!" Diamond Dallas Page posted on his Instagram.

DDP has notably helped both Tommaso Ciampa and Ivar of The Viking Raiders rehab their neck injuries over the past few years. His DDPY program even helped Mick Foley to walk normally after decades of in-ring abuse had nearly crippled him.

Big E will not require neck surgery

In the best news of the weekend, Big E revealed on social media that he would not require surgery for his broken neck.

While he did fracture his C-1 and C-6, there was no displacement. On top of that, he miraculously didn't suffer any damage to his spinal cord.

Even with this best-case scenario, it will surely be a long time before fans get to see Big E wrestle again. On behalf of everyone at Sportskeeda, we wish him a safe and speedy recovery.
