Dominik Mysterio reacts to major star calling him the future of WWE

Dominik Mysterio has reacted to a recent post on social media from Logan Paul, calling him the future of WWE.

The two major heels were involved in an in-ring segment on this week's episode of RAW. The Maverick is currently feuding with Dirty Dom's father Rey Mysterio. They are set to collide for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023. The Judgment Day member made it clear that he was siding with the social media megastar in the feud instead of his own dad.

Logan Paul took to X/Twitter to share a photo of the two of them and wrote that Dominik Mysterio is the future of WWE.

The NXT North American Champion reacted to the tweet with a GIF of Rick from the popular TV show Rick and Morty, saying:

"This guy gets it."

Rey Mysterio on Dominik Mysterio's growth in WWE

After turning heel last year, Dirty Dom joined forces with The Judgment Day and went on to become one of the biggest heels in the business.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Rey Mysterio commented on his son's growth by calling it mind-blowing and unbelievable.

"I'm a SmackDown guy, so Mondays I'm home. I'll sit down with my wife and watch RAW together and we see our son come out and we see the connection he has with the fans. It's mind blowing, and to see his growth week after week after week for the past year and a couple of months since he did the turn, it's unbelievable. I'm in awe every time I see it. When you connect with the fans, whether they love you or hate you, that's what you need and he's getting it. He understands it," said Mysterio.

Dominik Mysterio is currently involved in a feud with Nathan Frazer on WWE NXT. It wouldn't be surprising if the two stars end up having a match for the North American Championship.
