Vince McMahon turned heads recently by putting his TKO shares up for sale, resulting in fan speculation about the former WWE Chairman's next move. Regarding McMahon starting a new wrestling promotion, Eric Bischoff said he wouldn't put money on it happening.

After successfully returning to WWE and overseeing its sale, Vince McMahon's stint as a top executive in the newly formed TKO came to an abrupt end in January 2024. Former employee Janel Grant recently accused the 78-year-old of sexual misconduct and trafficking in a lawsuit, leading to his resignation.

There doesn't seem to be any way back for Vince McMahon this time around as he has registered his remaining TKO stock for sale. On his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff said he didn't foresee McMahon using his finances to start over again in the pro wrestling business.

"I wouldn't put any money on it. I don't even gamble, but I'll go play Blackjack in Vegas, instead. I won't put any money on it." [17:16 - 17:29]

According to the former WCW boss, McMahon establishing another wrestling organization was a fantasy scenario that was unlikely to come to fruition. Bischoff believed that the only people who'd benefit from that happening were the media and veterans like him, who have their podcasts.

The WWE Hall of Famer added:

"Here's where that would be good news, and if that were to happen, and I really have to shift into fantasy gear right now, I just can't imagine it, but if he did, can you imagine all of the money all of the wrestling sites, we're going to make on YouTube? I mean! This is like the gift that keeps on giving if that were to happen." [From 17:56 onwards]

Eric Bischoff says no one knows what Vince McMahon may do next

As he battles the allegations in the lawsuit and looks to clear his name, Vince McMahon could be plotting a massive move, given that he is seemingly amassing a lot of cash.

Bischoff mentioned that he'd been fascinated by the theories online, one of which included Vince potentially setting up a pro wrestling league in Saudi Arabia.

Eric Bischoff laughed at the ideas proposed on the internet and said that apart from speculating, no one really has a clue what Vince McMahon is planning on doing. Regarding the motive behind the imminent sale of McMahon's TKO shares, Bischoff knows as much as most others in the wrestling community.

"I mean, who knows? You could speculate all day long. I've already seen people saying, 'Oh, he is going to launch a wrestling league in Saudi.' Whatever. And that may be true; who knows? I don't know, and I don't care. I'm just acknowledging the fact that there are going to be rumors all over the map, and none of us freaking know." [From 10:36 onwards]

Vince McMahon might be 78 years old, but considering his track record and how competitive he is, fans should not be surprised if he unveils a new wrestling company after possibly overcoming the serious accusations against him.
